Aloe Vera Gel comes from the lower part of the leaf of the Aloe Vera plant. It has been used for thousands of years to treat wounds, infections, burns, and other dermatological conditions.

Of the 240 species, only 4 are recognized as being of medicinal value to humans and animals. Barbadensis-Miller is significantly the top of the 4 species. It is the aloe that is used in all upper-end cosmetics.
