The aloe plant requires an average temperature of no less than 50 degrees fahrenheit. It can survive up to 104 degrees fahrenheit. It requires full sunlight, although an excess of sunlight can cause the leaves to turn brown. It needs minimal water, since it is a succulent plant.
The climate in Idaho varies considerably depending on the area of the state and of course the season. Despite this fact, it is difficult to grow the aloe plant outdoors in any part of the state because of the temperatures. You could successfully put potted plants outdoors during the summer months. The dry climate is favorable. Your plant requires very little water and will suffer if it is not allowed to dry out completely between waterings.
Your plant will thrive indoors. Keep it in full sunlight with plenty of warmth. At all times ensure that your plant does not receive too much water. When watering, fully soak the plant, then allow to dry completely before re-watering.
